About us
Established in 1991, Sentis Ltd. started as a small wholesale company. Our initial activities were fully focused on exporting of bookbinding cloth produced by Platex company in Česká Skalice to many countries around the world. However, Sentis' business activities have been expanding every year and we have become one of the major Czech suppliers of polygraphic materials. We currently hold a strong position on the market and offer a full spectrum of products and services not only in Czech Republic, but also abroad.
In 1993 we started stocking and selling our own assortment of bookbinding ribbons and headbands, and during the following years a wide range of covering materials.
Among our providers belong companies of international significance. We closely cooperate with the biggest world's producer Ecological Fibers form USA. Their materials have gained extensive popularity on the Czech market. Luxurious flocked materials we import from the well known manufacturer SEF from France and polyurethane materials from italian producer Nuova Mabel. Recently, we have also made a deal with company Kiiltoplast in Finland, producing covering materials with plastic coating.
The fundamental idea of our company is to offer a complete product and that´s why we have extended our selection of ancillary products like crepe paper in various grammages, different types of bookbinding mull, spine board and recently also foamboard.
We also supply covering materials in various sizes requested by client using our own machinery. We regularly participate in important international fairs and exhibitions such as Paperworld in Frankfurt or Drupa in Düsseldorf. Since the year 2000 Sentis has been a member of Interbook, the non-profit organization whose members are leading wholesalers of polygraphic materials from all over Europe.
We made a very significant breakthrough in the development of Sentis in 2006, when we moved our warehouse and office space to our own facilities in Beroun.
