Stone Paper

We would like to introduce a new product in our assortment - Stone Paper.

A paper made of mineral powder made of limestone (calcium carbonate, 80%) and an admixture of "green" HDPE (bio-polyethylene resin), which is produced without the use of water, without the need to cut down trees and, thanks to its natural whiteness, without the use of bleaching agents. It is a material that is gradually gaining favour worldwide and is likely to be one of the main alternatives to conventional paper in the future.

The production process produces no toxic emissions and wastes no water. Unused or surplus product can be easily recycled into new Stone Paper. Moreover, it is easily and safely degraded by nature and can be incinerated without releasing harmful gases. It is photodegradable, i.e. it degrades under the influence of prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Due to its composition, Stone Paper is very strong, waterproof, greaseproof and washable. It feels like tissue paper to the touch. It is characterised by a pleasant white shade and an extremely smooth surface. Great for writing, drawing and painting. Thanks to its impermeable texture, no ink is absorbed into it, thus reducing ink consumption when printing compared to conventional paper. The result is an extremely sharp image. This paper can be printed on both digitally and offset.

Due to its excellent characteristics, it is used in the production of packaging, books and diaries, but also, for example, maps and bags.

Our offer

We currently stock Stone Paper in 120, 160 and 200 micron thicknesses.
